# Agent Verified (Beta)

Agent Verified gives you higher-quality translations than AI Translate, without waiting for a human expert. LILT's custom AI models translate your content, then an AI Review agent checks and edits every new segment. Your job is delivered automatically, usually within 3 hours.

| Option | What happens | Best for |
| :- | :- | :- |
| AI Translate | LILT's AI translates your content. | Speed, high volume, internal content |
| Agent verified | LILT's AI translates, then an AI review agent checks and edits each segment. | Better quality at AI speed, with no human step |
| Expert verified | LILT's AI translates, then human experts review and confirm. | Customer-facing and high-stakes content |

### How Agent Verified works

1. Your configured AI model, from LILT or a third-party AI provider, translates any segment that isn’t already a 100% or 101% match in your Data Source.”
2. The AI Review agent checks those segments against your style guide, terminology and QA rules, and corrects errors such as mistranslations, omissions and grammar.
3. Tags and formatting are placed back into the translated file.
4. LILT delivers the job and notifies you by email and in the app.

Exact matches (100% and 101%) skip the AI review step, so your approved translations stay as they are.

## Submit a job with Agent Verified

1. Start a new job and upload your files.
2. Choose your source and target languages.
3. Under translation options, select **Agent verified**.
4. Turn on **Secondary Review** if you want someone on your team to review the translations before delivery. If it's off, the job is delivered without opening the editor.
5. Fill in any custom job properties your organization uses.
6. Check the quote, then click **Submit**.

Agent Verified jobs don't use the instructions or due date fields, so they won't appear on the job submission page. The quote is calculated automatically, and offline quotes aren't available for Agent Verified.

You can't add documents to an Agent Verified job after you submit it. To translate more files, create a new job.

### Supported content

Agent Verified works with the same document formats as AI Translate. It isn't available for:

* Image, audio and archive files
* Video files without an attached subtitle file
* ICU plural content
* Files that need pre- or post-processing

If you upload an unsupported file, the Agent verified option is unavailable and the form explains why.

## Track and download your translation

Agent Verified jobs are labeled **Agent verified** on the Jobs page. To see only these jobs, filter by **Agent verified**.

<img src="https://mintcdn.com/lilt-db26f913/C5swNEap72Poytl-/images/image-122.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=C5swNEap72Poytl-&q=85&s=1012f511af196654c6555102406620db" alt="Image" title="Image" style={{ width:"31%" }} width="688" height="1076" data-path="images/image-122.png" />

When the job is delivered, you'll get one email and one in-app notification. Download your files from the job the same way as any other delivered job.

To see what the AI Review agent changed, open the job's revision report. Customer managers and Admins can view it.

### How Agent Verified translations are saved

Agent Verified translations are saved to your Data Source with an **AI Reviewed** label. They keep future translations consistent, but they aren't used to train your custom model.

* In future Agent Verified jobs, exact matches to these translations are reused and not charged as new words.
* In Expert verified jobs, they appear as 99% matches. Experts can edit them, and they're charged at your 99% match rate.
* When an expert or Secondary Reviewer confirms one of these segments, it becomes a human-verified translation and can be used for model training.

To find or remove AI-reviewed translations, open your Data Source, filter by **AI reviewed**, then select and delete the entries you don't want.

## Other ways to submit

* **API:** Select Agent Verified as the workflow when you create the job. Include your documents in the job-creation request, since you can't add them afterwards.
* **LILT Assist and MCP:** Ask Assist to translate your content and choose Agent verified when it offers translation options.
* **Connectors:** Agent Verified is available in Connector Admin (Beta). Contact your LILT account team to set it up for a connector.

## Set Agent Verified as your default

Admins can make Agent verified the default option, or hide options your team shouldn't use, in the [Job Form Editor](https://support.lilt.com/kb/Job-Form-Editor).

Agent Verified needs to be enabled for your organization. If you don't see the option, contact your LILT account team.
