There are four different default roles and the option of creating customized roles, which can be assigned to users depending on the specific needs within a specific project.
The roles are:
- Administrator
- Manager
- Translator/Reviewer
- Pro Freelancer
- Custom roles
Administrators have the following permissions:
- Viewing, creating and modifying all Projects
- Viewing, creating and editing all Memories
- Assigning tasks to translators or reviewers
- Downloading and uploading files
- Viewing all reports
- Creating and editing team members
- Management of team integrations such as Slack
- Creating and editing roles
- Viewing, creating and editing terminology data
- View and reset the API key
Managers have the following permissions:
- Viewing, creating and modifying all Projects
- Viewing, creating and editing all Memories
- Assigning tasks to translators or reviewers
- Downloading and uploading files
- Viewing all reports
- Creating and editing team members (except administrators)
- Management of team integrations such as Slack
- Viewing, creating and editing terminology data
- View the API key
Translators and reviewers share the following permissions with administrators and managers as well:
- Creating and modifying all personal projects with personal memories
- Creating and modifying all personal memories
- Downloading files
- Editing in Translate or Review modes
- Downloading files
- Viewing terminology data
Pro freelancers have the following permissions:
- Viewing, creating and modifying all Projects
- Viewing, creating and editing all Memories
- Creating and editing documents
- Downloading and uploading files
- Viewing all reports
- Viewing, creating and editing terminology data
It is possible to add a customized role, which may include any of the following permissions:
- Viewing, creating and modifying all Projects
- Viewing, creating and editing all Memories
- Assigning tasks to translators or reviewers (yes/no)
- Downloading and uploading files
- Viewing all reports (yes/no)
- Creating and editing team members
- Creating and editing roles
- Management of team integrations such as Slack (yes/no)
- Viewing, creating and editing terminology data
- Viewing and resetting the API key
