Lilt organizes translation data into memories. These contain specific sentences and phrases for language pairs and domains. Memories can be private, but often memories will be shared across a project to ensure consistency. Lilt is equipped with a Default Memory for each supported language pair, and this contains no domain-specific suggestions. The Default Memory can be updated with the upload of your own memory or termbase.
It is possible to upload several memories and termbases to ensure leverage of your existing data. At the end of a project, your memory can be exported as a .tmx file.
Lilt lets you edit and manage your memory or termbase directly on the tool (link to linguistic asset management).
Your translation memory and termbases are the cornerstones of your project. Complete leverage of the power your memories contain is the premise for a high-quality delivery.
