The Lilt + SDL WorldServer connector enables companies to automatically push and pull web content between WorldServer and Lilt for seamless localization. This saves you time and allows you to continue working in the systems you know.
By creating a new project in WorldServer using a project template assigned to the Lilt WorldServer User, you also create new projects in Lilt. The seamless integration allows you to track project progress in both Lilt and WorldServer.
Watch this video for how WorldServer handles project creation.
When the project is delivered in Lilt, the content is sent back to WorldServer for a final review and approval.
Existing memories in WorldServer are automatically shared to Lilt, and they are updated continuously with changes in Lilt, and you can use WorldServer to select any TM you want uploaded to Lilt.
How it works
- Within WorldServer, create a new user and provide its login credentials to your contact at Lilt. This user needs the pm, or customer_pm role within WorldServer for adequate access to the API.
- Create a workflow template that assigns this user as the linguist under the “translate” step. Then, create a translation project in WorldServer.
- The connector will use the WorldServer REST API to check for new projects that have been assigned to the specific user you created, and import those files into Lilt for translation; Lilt translators complete the translation.
- When the translation is done, Lilt sends the translated content back into WorldServer and advances the workflow step.
