LILT + WPMLWordPress connector enables companies to automatically push and pull web content between WordPress and LILT. This saves you time by providing seamless localization while letting you continue to work in the systems you know. Here’s a step-by-step guide on connecting your WordPress site to LILT using WPML.
In your site’s admin, go to WPML → Translation Management → Translators and find LILT in the list of available Translation Management Systems. Click to activate it, then click the Authenticate button and enter your LILT API key.
Once a Project is completed in LILT, follow these steps to manually pull the localized content into WordPress:
On your site, go to WPML → Translation Management page.
Click the Check status and get translations button to update the status of translation jobs and pull the content of completed LILT Projects into WordPress.
Once content has been pulled from LILT into WordPress, you can navigate to the Translation Jobs page to check the status of all your translation jobs. For jobs that have been completed, you can then review and publish the content.
Question: Are there concerns/constraints in running multiple instances of LILT/WordPress integrations? Answer: No, WPML can be installed in each case and configured with the API key: https://wpml.org/translation-service/LILT/Question: What is the oldest release level that we support with our WordPress connector? Answer: Any version supported by WPML: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
LILT intercepts WPML jobs containing the “Instant” keyword, automatically pre-translating them. This means these jobs skip the standard human-in-the-loop (HITL) path and are delivered back to you much faster.
